OVC Dining Hall & Kitchen construction 

 

• We want to improve the children’s health and sanitary conditions during feeding times, as Currently the children sit outside on the ground during meal times. We envision a better kitchen for the preparation of meals and a dining area where the children can sit together to
  enjoy their meals protected from the elements.

For both we require  $12,434,69USD (1,036,897.45KSH).
The Dining hall:  $10,928.23USD (896,115.00KSH)
The Kitchen:  $1506.46 (140,782.45KSH)

We have more than 120 kids in our care: orphans and vulnerable children from the slums of Ngong. We have managed to build a “safe place” where they can learn, play, and have access to at least one meal a day. Thanks to the project, we will be able to reduce school absenteeism due to illness and better prepare our students for their public education!
